Privacy Policy for Steady

Last updated: April 25, 2026

Steady is a fitness planning and progress-tracking app designed to work primarily on your device. This policy explains what data Steady handles, how it is used, and whether it is shared.

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to the app Steady, currently released under package name com.poiuy.planfit by Poiuy / Helix Systems.

Short version

  • No account is required.
  • No ads SDKs are included in the intended release.
  • No analytics SDKs are included in the intended release.
  • No crash-reporting SDKs are included in the intended release.
  • No developer-operated cloud sync is included in the intended release.
  • Your data is intended to stay on your device unless you explicitly export or hand it off using a device-native integration.

What data Steady handles

Steady may store and process the following information locally on your device:

  • fitness goals and preferences
  • workout plan preferences
  • workout completion and progression feedback
  • body weight entries
  • sleep entries
  • meal preferences and meal-planning state
  • reminder settings
  • calendar export state markers
  • profile names and profile-specific plan state

How data is used

  • to generate and update workout plans
  • to track progress over time
  • to personalize reminders
  • to support profile management
  • to adapt when workouts are missed, shifted, or marked too hard

Data collection and sharing

Based on the current app design:

  • Steady does not collect your personal data to a developer backend.
  • Steady does not sell your personal data.
  • Steady does not share your data with advertisers or analytics providers.

If a future version adds analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, or other remote backend features, this policy must be updated before that version is released.

Permissions and device features

  • Notifications: Steady may request notification permission so it can show workout or meal reminders on your device.
  • Calendar handoff: Steady can help you add planned workouts to your device calendar using local/native calendar flows when you choose to use that feature.
  • Boot completed (Android): On Android, Steady may use boot-related capability so reminders can be restored after device restart.

Data retention and control

Because Steady is designed to store data locally on-device, your data is generally retained until:

  • you delete it inside the app where supported
  • you use reset or clear actions in the app
  • you uninstall the app and your device removes app data

You can also control your data by changing reminder settings and using export, backup, and clear/reset tools in the app.

Security, children, and changes

  • Security: Steady is intended to keep data on your device rather than transmitting it to a remote backend.
  • Children: Steady is not designed specifically for children.
  • Changes: This policy may be updated if the app changes. If features affecting data handling are added, this page should be revised before release of those changes.
